Where the Nexperia Auto‑Chip Crisis Stands Now

â€ĒBy ADMIN
The globally critical chip‑maker Nexperia is at the centre of a supply‑chain storm that’s putting automakers around the world on high alert. After the Dutch government intervened and took control over Nexperia citing national‑security concerns tied to its Chinese owner, China retaliated by halting or restricting exports of Nexperia‑produced components. These chips may not be the latest high‑end processors, but they power everything from airbags and lighting controls to seat adjustments—meaning disruptions could ripple across whole assembly lines. European automotive groups, notably Germany’s Verband der Automobilindustrie (VDA), are warning of “considerable production restrictions or even stoppages” if the embargo persists. Meanwhile, talks between the EU, US and China are underway to ease the log‑jam, but uncertainty remains over how quickly supply will stabilise. #autochips #NexperiaCrisis #supplychainrisk #semiconductors #SlimScan #GrowthStocks #CANSLIM
