Palantir Technologies is rewriting the “go to college first” rulebook. The company has launched a program dubbed the Meritocracyâ€ŊFellowship, targeting recent high‑school graduates who skip university to dive straight into full‑time work. CEO Alex Karp argues that traditional colleges “don’t reliably train effective workers” and that merit, not diplomas, should decide hiring. The fellowship spans four months. It begins with an intensive seminar on Western civilisation, U.S. history and leadership, then places fellows on real projects—ranging from healthcare to defence. From more than 500 applicants, 22 were selected for the first class. Successful participants may receive full‑time job offers with Palantir, no degree required. #educationreform #techhiring #skillsnotdegrees #futureofwork #SlimScan #GrowthStocks #CANSLIM
