With the holiday season underway, Toyota is turning “joy” into a mission — unveiling two new festive ads that aim to celebrate the spirit of giving and togetherness.
Last night, Toyota premiered its playful seasonal spot The Holiday Job during NBCUniversal’s “Christmas in Rockefeller Center” on NBC and Peacock. Meanwhile, its Spanish‑language counterpart, Running Late, debuted on Telemundo's “Navidades en Rockefeller Center.” Both spots feature a cozy holiday vibe and a personalized throw from a show host.
In “The Holiday Job,” families go all‑in to keep holiday gifts a surprise — from sneaking presents into a house using a Tundra, to hiding toys in a Tacoma’s bed late at night — capturing the playful “secret mission” of holiday gifting.
“Running Late,” on the other hand, embraces the warm chaos of a holiday evening: a family racing to gather loved ones, finishing holiday dishes, and even praying their dessert survives the car ride in a family Highlander — showing how love, humor, and imperfection define a real holiday gathering.
Through these campaigns, Toyota isn’t just telling holiday stories — it’s committing to giving back. This season, the company supports Boys & Girls Clubs of America (BGCA), donating US$215,000 and a 2025 Tundra to help provide safe spaces, mentoring, and opportunity for youth across the country.
“We hope families everywhere are inspired to make joy their holiday mission,” said Mike Tripp, Toyota’s Group VP of Marketing.
