Ophir Metals Corp. has announced the completion of a detailed review of its Breccia Gold Property in Lemhi County, Idaho, and is moving forward with plans to restart exploration activities amid historically high gold and silver prices. The property, located about 40 km southwest of Salmon and accessible by paved and gravel roads, hosts significant gold and silver mineralization identified through surface sampling, including highs of 84.3 g/t gold and 31.3 g/t silver on the Meadows Fault Trend and 57.6 g/t gold with 19.6 g/t silver in the East Breccia Zone. Recent work also expanded the mineralized zone 800 m to the north. Geological and geophysical data, including CSAMT and magnetic surveys, indicate a continuous structural corridor that supports further exploration along strike and at depth. Historical drilling near the property boundary returned notable results of 13.02 g/t gold and 46.6 g/t silver over 7.4 m, suggesting the mineralized system may extend onto the company’s claims. Ophir is now planning field work and drill target prioritization as part of its 2026 exploration program to better understand and test the property’s potential. Management views Breccia as a cornerstone asset within its precious metals portfolio as it evaluates additional opportunities in North America’s expanding gold and silver sector.
