Streaming giant Netflix has inked a strategic global licensing deal with toy industry heavyweights Mattel and Hasbro to bring its breakout animated hit KPop Demon Hunters off screens and onto shelves.
The film, which dropped in June 2025, has already amassed over 325 million views on Netflix, making it the platform’s most‑watched original film to date.
Under the agreement, Mattel will produce dolls, action figures, playsets and branded accessories beginning in 2026, while Hasbro will roll out plush toys, youth electronics, and a special edition “Monopoly Deal: KPop Demon Hunters” game.
This move signals Netflix’s intent to leverage its hit IP beyond just streaming—transforming KPop Demon Hunters into a multi‑channel consumer brand and tapping into retail revenue streams beyond subscriptions.
