MoonFox Data reports that XPeng Motors delivered 116,007 vehicles in Q3 2025, marking a 149.3% year‑over‑year increase and 12.4% quarter‑over‑quarter growth, setting a new quarterly delivery record for the Chinese EV maker. Revenue for the quarter reached RMB 20.38 billion, up 101.8% YoY, while net loss narrowed significantly compared with the prior quarter and the same period last year, indicating ongoing improvements in profitability.
However, XPeng’s rapid growth is primarily driven by two core models — the MONA M03 and P7+ — which together account for over 70% of total sales. This heavy reliance on a narrow segment of its product lineup raises concerns that demand shifts or stronger competition could hurt overall performance.
XPeng is also experiencing rising app installs, indicating stronger customer engagement and potential for repeat purchases. The company has optimized its product portfolio into entry‑level, mainstream, and premium segments, expanded R&D investment — increasing spending nearly 49% YoY to RMB 2.43 billion — and filed over 3,000 intelligent driving‑related patents, enhancing its technological edge.
Looking ahead, XPeng expects to deliver 125,000–132,000 vehicles in Q4 2025, with revenue projected to grow to around RMB 22 billion. MoonFox Data forecasts that the company could reach breakeven by the end of 2025 if momentum is sustained.
