
Mirasol Announces New Chief Financial Officer

VANCOUVER, British Columbia â On December 5, 2025, Mirasol Resources Ltd. (TSXâV: MRZ, OTC: MRZLF) announced that Carmen Cazares has retired from her position as Chief Financial Officer (CFO). Effective December 1, 2025, Francisco Del Castillo has stepped into the role.
Cazares had served as CFO since 2022, and before that was the companyâs Corporate Controller. In a statement, President & CEO Tim Heenan praised her âdedication, integrity, and contributions during the past six years,â and wished her a âwellâdeserved retirement.â
Del Castillo arrives with more than two decades of experience in public accounting, corporate financial management, public company reporting, and multinational operations across Canada, Mexico, and Latin America. He holds both Canadian and Mexican Chartered Accountant designations, as well as an MBA. Previously, he has worked as a fractional CFO and Corporate Controller for publiclyâlisted mining firms, including a productionâstage miner operating in Mexico.
Heenan added that Franciscoâs âextensive experience in the Latin American resource sector and strategic financial leadership will be instrumental as we advance our portfolio of highly prospective exploration projects across Chile and Argentina.â
Mirasol is currently funding exploration of its flagship project, the Sobek Copper-Gold Project in Chileâs VicuÃąa CopperâGoldâSilver District, while maintaining a broader pipeline of earlyâ and midâstage projects across Chile and Argentina.
