Meta and ABC Launch New Workforce Academy to Build Construction Careers

Meta Platforms Inc. and Associated Builders and Contractors have announced a major partnership to launch America’s Workforce Academy, a $115 million training initiative designed to prepare thousands of people for careers in data center construction. The program will begin in Indiana, Louisiana, Ohio, and Texas.

The academy will offer a five-week hands-on training program covering safety, career readiness, core construction skills, and craft training. Qualified applicants may receive scholarships, travel support, housing, and living stipends.
