Marriott International ramps up branded residences across EMEA

Marriott International, Inc. announced at its Resort and Residential Forum that it is accelerating the growth of its branded residences business in the Europe, Middle East & Africa (EMEA) region. With 25 years of experience in branded homes, Marriott’s EMEA portfolio now spans 18 countries and territories, with 33 open properties and more than 50 projects in the pipeline. Since the end of 2023, Marriott has grown its branded‑residential portfolio by 23% in Europe and 59% in the Middle East & Africa — highlighting strong demand for elevated living. In 2025 alone, the company has signed nearly 20 new branded residence agreements in EMEA, roughly half of which are standalone residential projects. Key luxury segment signings this year include: The Residences at The Dubai Beach EDITION, the first residences for the EDITION brand in EMEA. The St. Regis Residences, Al Maryah Island Abu Dhabi, where 60% of units were sold at record prices prior to public launch. The Ritz‑Carlton Residences, Al Maryah Island, another Abu Dhabi project with strong market traction. By year‑end 2025 Marriott expects to open six new branded residences in the region, including projects in London, Algarve, Dubai and Cairo.
