In the newly released 2026 *Pied Piper PSI® Internet Lead Effectiveness® (ILE®) Compact Tractor Industry Study*, **Kubota dealerships earned the highest overall score for responding to online customer leads**, though the broader industry showed weak performance. The study, which submitted inquiries to **772 compact‑tractor dealer websites representing all major brands**, found Kubota achieved an average ILE score of **37 out of 100**, above the **industry average of 29** — despite both scores declining compared with last year. The results revealed a troubling trend: 47% of all online tractor inquiries received no personal response at all — a 7% increase in unanswered customer contacts versus 2025. Half of the dealerships did not engage with prospective buyers, and only 16% of responses included proactive next steps or appointment efforts. Kubota’s leading performance was driven by better engagement. Dealers were more likely to answer customer questions via email or text (49%) and to combine multi‑channel outreach like calls plus messages. Kubota also had the lowest rate of no response (16%), compared with 27% industrywide. Following Kubota in the rankings were TYM, Mahindra, John Deere, and Yanmar. Overall, the study highlights that compact tractor dealers lag behind other motor vehicle sectors, such as automotive and powersports, in digital responsiveness — a key factor that can drive higher sales conversions when done well. #Kubota #TractorIndustry #CustomerResponse #DigitalLeads #SlimScan #GrowthStocks #CANSLIM
