Global engineering‑consulting firm Jacobs (NYSE: J) has been selected as a supplier to the UK government’s Crown Commercial Service (CCS) under the Management Consultancy Framework Four (MCF4)—specifically on Lot 8: Infrastructure. Through this framework, Jacobs will provide advisory, consulting and digital solutions to UK public‑sector organisations in domains such as transport, cities & places, defence and clean energy, assisting them in delivering smarter, more sustainable infrastructure and improving value for money for taxpayers.
The appointment positions Jacobs to support new and existing public‑sector clients in the UK for the next two years, building on the company’s previous framework engagements and leveraging its strategic partner, PA Consulting, which holds slots under other lots (Strategy & Policy, Complex & Transformation, Finance).
CCS, an executive agency of the UK Cabinet Office, facilitates public‑sector procurement of shared goods and services—with reported commercial benefits of £5.3 billion in 2024/25.
In a statement, Jacobs’ Executive VP Europe, Richard Sanderson, said the appointment “enables us to address the public sector’s most pressing infrastructure and transformation needs … from strategy through delivery — to help clients achieve better outcomes for communities and taxpayers.”
