Intuit has signed a multi‑year agreement in which it will pay OpenAI more than US$100 million per year to integrate OpenAI’s language‑models—most notably ChatGPT—into Intuit’s suite of financial‑services apps including TurboTax, QuickBooks and Credit Karma. Under the deal, ChatGPT users will be able to access Intuit’s financial‑tools directly through the chatbot interface. That means the ability to estimate tax refunds, apply for personal loans or mortgages, run payroll or business accounting tasks—all via conversational AI. Intuit’s CEO, Sasan Goodarzi, said the partnership “combines our proprietary financial data, credit models and AI platform capabilities with OpenAI’s scale and frontier models” to help users financially prosper. OpenAI emphasised that the move marks a shift from consumer‑only applications toward deeper business‑integrations, and that via the agreement Intuit’s apps will be embedded in ChatGPT while maintaining data‑privacy safeguards: users will opt in and Intuit retains control over what data is shared. The collaboration comes as Intuit already serves around 100 million customers worldwide. The company expects that AI integrations will deepen customer engagement and attract new users, even as certain of its business units (such as its Mailchimp marketing platform) have under‑performed. In stock markets, the announcement triggered a positive response: Intuit’s shares rose circa 3.4 % in pre‑market trading. In short: by embedding its financial services inside ChatGPT and linking its deep data‑sets with OpenAI’s AI models, Intuit is betting big on AI becoming not just a feature—but the front door to personal and business finance. #IntuitOpenAI #ChatGPTFinance #AIinTax #FintechPartnership #SlimScan #GrowthStocks #CANSLIM
