Infosys, a global leader in digital services and consulting, and the ATP, the governing body of men’s professional tennis, have announced the launch of Ally, an AI‑powered chatbot designed to enhance fan engagement and bring tennis enthusiasts closer to the sport. Ally is powered by Infosys Topaz™, a generative AI platform that delivers real‑time insights and humanized interactions by answering questions about match statistics, tournament schedules, draws, player comparisons, historical records, and more.
The chatbot is tailored for fans, journalists, players, and coaches, enabling intuitive, interactive conversations and providing clear, concise information. Ally continuously learns and refines its responses, ensuring its capabilities evolve with the tennis ecosystem. Integrated with the ATP Stats Centre, it offers fact‑checked responses backed by robust safety measures, including content filtering and protections against misinformation.
Alongside the launch, Infosys and ATP announced an extension of their partnership through 2028, building on a collaboration that began in 2015. Infosys has supported ATP’s digital innovation efforts, contributing to platforms such as ATP PlayerZone, the ATP Stats Centre, and the ATP app.
Together, these advancements mark a new chapter in how technology and sport can join forces to enrich global tennis engagement and experience.
