Huntington Ingalls Industries (HII) has secured a cost‑plus‑fixed‑fee contract from the United States Navy worth $91.9 million — with potential add‑ons pushing total value up to roughly $472 million. The deal tasks HII with providing engineering, technical, and design support for both the Nimitz‑class and the newer Gerald R. Ford‑class aircraft carriers.
