Auto‑giant Ford Motor Co. is issuing a recall affecting 108,762 vehicles in the United States after the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) found that a liftgate hinge cover may be improperly secured — and could detach from certain cars. The recall specifically affects some 2020–2022 and 2025 models of the Ford Escape. Dealers will inspect the affected vehicles and free of charge reinstall or replace any missing hinge covers as needed. In a related recall, Ford is also pulling back nearly 12,000 units of the Lincoln MKT from model years 2016 to 2019. That recall stems from a problem where the B‑pillar door trim for the driver and front passenger could loosen or detach — a defect that could raise the risk of a crash. Owners of the impacted vehicles are being urged to contact their local Ford dealers promptly to schedule an inspection and necessary repairs, all covered at no cost by Ford. #FordRecall #AutoSafety #NHTSA #VehicleNews #SlimScan #GrowthStocks #CANSLIM
