Capitan Silver Corp. Achieves Stellar Drill Results at Jesus María Trend

Capitan Silver Corp. (TSXV: CAPT) has unveiled impressive assay results from its Phase One 15,000‑metre RC drill campaign at the Cruz de Plata silver‑gold project in Durango, Mexico. Among six newly reported holes, drillhole 25‑ERRC‑26 returned a standout intercept of 1,767.4 g/t silver equivalent (AgEq) over 1.5 metres, embedded within a broader zone of 234.2 g/t AgEq over 25.9 metres. Other holes also delivered strong results: for example-hole 25‑ERRC‑21 intersected 710.5 g/t AgEq over 1.5 m and 292.4 g/t AgEq over 6.1 m. Capitan reports these results extend and expand the high‑grade mineralization along the Jesus María trend and suggest the presence of a new large, high‑grade silver system, including a newly identified broad zone associated with the Peñoles Fault structure.
