Boeing is taking a step‑back approach as it strives to stabilise its production processes before ramping up manufacturing output. According to CEO Stephanie Pope, the company has recently been cleared by regulators to raise production of its 737‑series jets to 42 per month from a 38‑plane cap. However, Pope said it is “too early” to commit to when the next output milestone—47 per month for the 737 and 10 per month for the 787 model—will be reached. The company is instead focused on meeting six key targets set by the Federal Aviation Administration, which include monitoring supplier shortages and reducing out‑of‑sequence work. Boeing is also establishing a new “North line” at its wide‑body Everett facility in Washington to accommodate higher narrow‑body production. But Pope noted the next expansion won’t be needed until the company achieves its pre‑COVID output levels of about 52 jets per month. Meanwhile, rival Airbus is producing 63 A320neo‑family jets per month and targeting 75 per month by 2027—illustrating how Boeing remains behind in industrial momentum. #BoeingProduction #AerospaceIndustry #ManufacturingStability #AircraftOutput #SlimScan #GrowthStocks #CANSLIM
