Apex Critical Metals Corp. (CSE: APXC; OTCQX: APXCF; FWB: KL9), a Canadian mineral exploration company focused on critical and strategic metals, announced it has been granted a mineral exploration permit by the **Nebraska Department of Water, Energy and Environment (NDEE)** for its flagship **Rift Rare Earth Element (REE) Project** in southeastern Nebraska, U.S.A. The permit approval empowers the company to proceed with its **planned drill program** as it transitions from preparation into execution.
The Rift Project spans roughly 3,500 acres within the Elk Creek Carbonatite Complex, a region with extensive historical drilling by past operators like Molycorp and Quantum Rare Earth Developments, which reported broad, high‑grade REE intersections in previous drill holes, including intervals such as 155.5 m of 2.70% REO and 236.2 m of 2.10% REO.
CEO Sean Charland highlighted that this permit marks a major milestone as Apex aims to verify and build upon those historical results, positioning the Rift Project as a premier rare earth target in North America. Preparations are advancing, including contractor selection, drill support logistics, access planning, and refinement of target zones based on detailed geological review. Drilling is expected to start in early Q1 2026.
